Common Navigator Framework: Link with Editor

You are right, this is not documented. I filed this bug so we will fix it:https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=243466

PS - I have found it helpful to use the
org.eclipse.ui.navigator.resources plugin.xml as the example for how
things work in general (this is probably what you did)
