Java, the OLPC, and community responsibility

The "One Laptop Per Child" project has a great device ready to ship, but there's no Java on there. Let's think about working together to put Java on OLPC!

EMF Refactoring Plugin

Hi,

I am developing a refactoring for EMF. I already implemented a first

If someone else is interested in taking a look at this first version he
or she can tell me but I don't want to post the update site here because
it is not ready to be published yet.

Unfortunately there is not much to play with yet. Primarily I wanted you
guys to take a look at the design. Nevertheless I will send you the
update site link as soon as another plugin from TU Berlin is updated
because my plugin depends on some improvements. I hope they will reply
quickly.

Hi Lars,

Might it not make more sense to file a bugzilla and attach the sources
there. As far as I remember IBM employees are not allowed to look into
sources out side eclipse-infrastructure because IP problems.

If IBM employees can not access the update sites (located at Uni Marburg

Berlin if it is okay to attach their sources, too, because of the
dependencies mentioned above.

Hi Lars,

The problem is not that can't access them the problem is that they are
*not allowed to look at the sources by their employee* (Ed isn't an
IBMer anymore so this might not be a problem for him anymore :-).

So if you want to have feedback you need to provide the sources through
bugzilla and under EPL!

Lars,

I suppose you emailed my IBM address and since I'm no longer at IBM,
that won't work so well. My gmail email address will work better when
using Ed.Merks in combination with it. We're certainly badly in need of
refactoring support so that would make a very interesting component to
develop at Eclipse. I think lots of people would be interested in this,
so opening a bugzilla in which to add attachments or links would allow
many people to review it and comment on it. I look forward to seeing
the details!

Andrew,

This should be an easy problem to solve because all that needs to be
done is to load the resources, change their URIs and save them again...

I haven't gotten a chance to review the contribution yet. :-(

The org.eclipse.xsd plugin provides an XSDResourceImpl that's able to
