The "One Laptop Per Child" project has a great device ready to ship, but there's no Java on there. Let's think about working together to put Java on OLPC!
I am developing a refactoring for EMF. I already implemented a first
version and now I wanted to ask Ed Merks for his oppinion but my email
was not delivered.
If someone else is interested in taking a look at this first version he
or she can tell me but I don't want to post the update site here because
it is not ready to be published yet.
This sounds very interesting! I'd really like to play with it.
Cheers

Might it not make more sense to file a bugzilla and attach the sources
there. As far as I remember IBM employees are not allowed to look into
sources out side eclipse-infrastructure because IP problems.

FWIW Lack of refactoring is causing me a fair bit of pain. The main one
for me is moving ecore models & diagrams etc around. I have to edit the
xml which is a fiddly process.
This should be an easy problem to solve because all that needs to be
done is to load the resources, change their URIs and save them again...
I haven't gotten a chance to review the contribution yet.

Here's a list of all the open bugs
Use this link, choose the "Edit" component, and mark the severity as "enhancement":
You can add attachments too.

Re: EMF Refactoring Plugin
FWIW Lack of refactoring is causing me a fair bit of pain. The main onefor me is moving ecore models & diagrams etc around. I have to edit the
xml which is a fiddly process.
So I'm very much looking forward this.
xsd load and save
hi,like for xmi import/export we have ecore's load and save api .what about
xsd schema?
Re: EMF Refactoring Plugin
Andrew,This should be an easy problem to solve because all that needs to be
done is to load the resources, change their URIs and save them again...
I haven't gotten a chance to review the contribution yet.

Re: xsd load and save
Gitanjali,The org.eclipse.xsd plugin provides an XSDResourceImpl that's able to
load and save XSDs exactly the same as for Ecores.
