The "One Laptop Per Child" project has a great device ready to ship, but there's no Java on there. Let's think about working together to put Java on OLPC!
Yes,
early registration
discounts for EclipseCon finishes today. (Of course, those of you much further away from the prime meridian will have to wait a few more hours before it becomes February 14th ... so come back in five or six hours time and re-read this post, will you?)
EclipseCon is going to be great this year ... luminaries such as myself will be going, and I've heard that the odd cartoonist will be making an appearance as well as the odd committer and a few other such people. We can't guarantee that the
NetBeans girls
will be back again this year, but as
Wassim
has been keen to point out, the NetBeans marketing engine has been throwing money at the Eclipse community by supporting ads on this site, so you never know. We can but hope.
So, if you've not got your conference place booked for this year's EclipseCon, now is your chance to get that
last-minute discount
. And then your SO can go off shopping with my SO whilst we talk about Eclipse
Feb 14th: Spread the love. EclipseCon early registration finishes today ...

So you're a luminary now. Being from the Latin luminare for a light or a lamp, would it be unkind to inquire where your light shines out of?Wherever it is, it's certainly not hidden under a bushel...
Re: Feb 14th: Spread the love. EclipseCon early registration finishes today
The light can't shine out on account of it being Eclipsed.Alex.
