The "One Laptop Per Child" project has a great device ready to ship, but there's no Java on there. Let's think about working together to put Java on OLPC!
JBoss has
open sourced
their Exadel Eclipse plugins under the EPL. This is the first step towards the creation of Red Hat Developer Studio, which is scheduled to be released later this summer.
"With Exadel, we're bringing the first high-caliber set of Eclipse-based tooling completely available as open source,? said Max Andersen, project lead for Red Hat Developer Studio, Red Hat. ?Exadel's technologies will be further extended with other JBoss.org projects such as JBoss Seam and JBoss jBPM to bring even more functionality and simplicity to application development.?
Some of important features include two way visual and source editing of JSF and Facelets, and support for Ajax4jsf, RichFaces, and JBoss Seam components.
